PixelRuler is a tiny application that can be useful for designers and people who deal with computer graphics. It places a special ruler on your screen allowing to measure any object you need. It includes a lot of useful features. For example, you can easily change its alignment making it horizontal or vertical. You can also activate the zoom mode. When it is activated, a special zoom box appears on the desktop and shows the zoomed screen area at which the mouse cursor points. This zoom box not only gives coordinates of the cursor, but also picks the color of the spot it points at and changes its RGB and HTML codes. The application allows to customize the appearance of the ruler, defining such characteristics as text, scales and background colors or changing the ruler transparency. The interface of PixelRuler supports both English and German languages. All the required information about its usage in details is available in the help file. The only disadvantage of PixelRuler is the absence of the opportunity to adjust the length of the ruler. As soon as it appears on the screen it becomes screen long.
